Azure Data Engineer

The purpose of the role is to design, test, and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications to be deployed at a client end, ensuring they meet 100% quality assurance parameters. You will be instrumental in understanding the requirements and design of the product/software, developing software solutions by studying information needs, systems flow, data usage, and work processes. You will investigate problem areas throughout the software development life cycle, facilitate root cause analysis, and identify ideas for system performance improvement. Additionally, you will collaborate with functional teams or systems analysts to convert client requirements into feasible designs, conferring with project managers to gather information on software capabilities. You will perform coding and ensure optimal software/module development, determining operational feasibility, developing and automating processes for software validation, and modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, or upgrade interfaces. It will be your responsibility to ensure error-free code, prepare reports on project specifications and activities, and compile comprehensive documentation and reports as requested. You will also provide feedback on usability and serviceability, trace quality risks, and report them to stakeholders. Your role will involve status reporting and maintaining customer focus with ongoing project execution. You will capture all client requirements and feedback for quality work, participate in continuing education to stay current on best practices, consult with engineering staff, and document solutions effectively. Ensuring good quality interaction with customers through various communication channels and timely response to requests will be crucial. In terms of deliverables, you will need to focus on continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring of software to ensure error-free onboarding and implementation, adherence to schedules, and release plans. Quality, customer satisfaction, troubleshooting queries, on-time delivery, and completion of certifications for skill upgradation are key performance parameters to be measured.
