Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Associate Video Editor to join our

post-production team. The ideal candidate will assist in crafting high-quality video content,

ensuring seamless storytelling and visual excellence. They should have a strong understanding

of editing techniques, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced

environment.

Key Responsibilities:

● Video Editing: Edit raw footage into polished, engaging content for various platforms, ensuring alignment with creative vision and project requirements.

● Content Organization: Manage and organize media assets, maintaining proper file structures and project documentation.

● Collaborative Workflow: Work closely with senior editors, producers, and other creative teams to ensure smooth post-production processes.

● Audio-Visual Synchronization: Ensure precise alignment of video and audio tracks, including dialogue, sound effects, and music.

● Color Correction and Grading: Apply basic color correction and grading to maintain visual consistency and enhance storytelling.

● Graphics and Effects: Integrate motion graphics, titles, and visual effects when needed.

● Revisions and Feedback: Implement feedback efficiently and maintain quality standards across all deliverables.

Requirements:

● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field (preferred).

● Experience: 1–3 years of video editing experience in a professional environment.

● Software Proficiency: Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and DaVinci Resolve.

● Technical Skills: Understanding of various video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.

● Creative Skills: A good sense of pacing, rhythm, and storytelling through visual media.

● Attention to Detail: Ability to spot errors and ensure high-quality, error-free deliverables.

● Time Management: Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

● Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

● Experience with motion graphics and VFX is a plus.

● Basic knowledge of sound design and audio editing.

● Familiarity with color grading and LUT application
