Associate MU Alumni Relations Centre (MARC)

As an Associate at the MU Alumni Relations Centre (MARC) located in Mahindra University, Hyderabad, you will play a crucial role in enhancing engagement with our diverse alumni network. This position is well-suited for individuals who are enthusiastic about fostering community connections, networking, and nurturing enduring institutional relationships. Your responsibilities will include serving as the primary point of contact for all alumni-related communications and inquiries. You will collaborate closely with the MARC team to conceptualize and execute programs and events that cater to the interests of our esteemed alumni. Acting as a bridge between the alumni community and the MARC team, you will ensure seamless communication and productive collaboration. A proactive approach is essential in your role to boost alumni membership and encourage active participation in university events and initiatives. You will be instrumental in facilitating meaningful interactions and mentorship opportunities between alumni and current students through thoughtfully curated events. Additionally, you will liaise with the university's placement cell to facilitate connections between students and the alumni network. Maintaining meticulous documentation of all alumni interactions and communication records will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. You will also have the opportunity to conduct interviews with alumni and faculty members to showcase career stories and institutional contributions. Managing data from graduating students to keep alumni records up-to-date and valuable will also fall within your purview. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in any discipline, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data organization, use of formulas, filters, pivot tables, and charts, as well as report and dashboard preparation, is essential. Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to collaborate effectively across teams and with external stakeholders are highly valued. Previous experience or familiarity with event planning, alumni relations, or community engagement would be advantageous.
