Assistant Fashion Designer

As an Assistant Fashion Designer at Bubble Bee Export House in Ahmedabad, India, you will have the opportunity to work with a leading name in women's wear apparel manufacturing. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting in the development and design of women's wear collections. You will collaborate with the lead designer to research fashion trends, create mood boards, select fabrics, colors, prints, and trims for new collections, and create initial sketches and designs for approval. Additionally, you will oversee the production process to ensure accurate execution of designs, provide creative input for marketing campaigns and photoshoots, coordinate with suppliers for sourcing materials, and participate in fittings to make necessary adjustments to designs. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field, along with 1-2 years of experience in fashion design, preferably in women's apparel. A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity is essential, as well as proficiency in fashion design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. You should have a solid understanding of garment construction and fabric behavior, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail with a strong sense of aesthetics.
