Aruba Wireless Engineer

The role of Aruba Wireless Engineer involves providing significant technical expertise in the architecture planning and design of the concerned tower while also managing its day-to-day operations. The responsibilities of a Wireless Engineer include working on Wireless controller/access points, conducting site wireless surveys and RF interference assessments, troubleshooting and resolving wireless network issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate wireless solutions with existing infrastructure. It is preferred for candidates to have industry certifications such as CCNP Wireless, CWNP, or equivalent, along with proficiency in network protocols and standards. Excellent communication skills are also required for this role. Team Management aspects include resourcing, forecasting talent requirements, hiring adequate resources, training direct reportees for recruitment and selection decisions, ensuring compliance to onboarding and training standards, building an internal talent pool, promoting diversity in leadership positions, setting goals for direct reportees, conducting performance reviews and appraisals, driving engagement initiatives, tracking team satisfaction scores, and exercising employee recognition and appreciation. The performance parameters for this role include SLA adherence, knowledge management, CSAT/customer experience, identification of risk issues and mitigation plans, timely delivery of new projects, avoiding unauthorized changes, and no formal escalations. Mandatory skills for this role include expertise in Cisco Routing and Switching with 5-8 years of experience.
