As a Principal Engineer, NAND Device Engineer at Micron Technology Inc., you will play a crucial role in the Technology Development group by analyzing cell device characteristics, engineering memory device/array operation, and developing innovative solutions for next-generation NAND technologies. Your primary focus will be to ensure the required cell and array performance is achieved within project timelines, contributing to the cutting-edge development of NAND technologies and products. Responsibilities: - Contribute to the device technology development of state-of-the-art NAND cells. - Perform electrical characterization of NAND cell arrays and test structures to identify device improvement directions. - Collaborate with Process Integration and Cell teams to enable cell improvements (performance, reliability) through feedback on process experiments and interactions with array operation. - Engage in trim and waveform/algorithm engineering to enhance cell threshold voltage placement, performance, and reliability. - Utilize fundamental device knowledge to develop novel array solutions. - Foster strong collaboration with product engineers, process engineers, and test engineers. Requirements: - Ph.D. or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Semiconductor devices. - Strong understanding and experience with nonvolatile memories, especially NAND device physics. Experience with NAND cell trim and algorithm development is essential (preferably 6+ years of experience). - Excellent communication and reporting skills. - Ability to drive for results effectively in a time-constrained environment. Education: - Ph.D. or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Semiconductor devices. Experience: - Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in Semiconductor Device Engineering.
