Role Description

This is a full-time Architect role located in New Delhi. The Architect will be responsible for architectural design, project management, software development, and integration tasks on a day-to-day basis.

Profile/Skills

• Graduate in Architecture from a reputed institution.
• Minimum experience of 10 years in relevant field, out of which minimum 4 years experience should be in similar role in the architectural design using of elevated Metro Rail projects.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
• Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
• Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority

Roles & Responsibilities

• Review and supplement the details given in DPR mainly on architectural design aspects considering the operational efficiency, maintainability, cost performance, etc.
• Review & supplement aspects pertaining to architectural design of stations.
• Review & supplement the outline design (architectural aspects) of the administration buildings, inspection sheds, maintenance sheds and other depot buildings and structures prepared by the DDC/Contractors.
• Review of bid documents submitted by tenderers for the Civil packages focusing on aspects including station planning, compliance in functional requirements, passenger flow and access construction point of view finishing and materials, maintenance, and other architectural aspects.
• Review/ proof check the architectural and related designs of all the metro stations from the D&B Civil contractors, including proposed layout, sufficiency of room size, technical controls, public access and administrative areas, lighting, acoustic, materials and finishes, etc.
