Admin & HR Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and well-organized HR Assistant to support the human resources and administrative operations of our school. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth HR functions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting staff throughout their employment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain employee records, attendance, leave tracking, and related documentation.
• Assist in recruitment: job postings, shortlisting candidates, coordinating interviews.
• Prepare appointment letters, joining formalities, and maintain HR files.
• Support new staff onboarding and induction procedures.
• Help coordinate staff training, development, and performance review processes.
• Assist with payroll inputs related to attendance, leaves, and other deductions.
• Ensure compliance with school HR policies and statutory regulations.
• Address employee queries professionally and maintain confidentiality.
• Coordinate with departments for internal communication and HR support needs.
• Support event planning and staff engagement activities when required.
• Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Administration, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in HR or admin roles (school experience preferred).
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and basic HR software.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
• Fluency in English, Gujarati, and Hindi.
• Uphold professional conduct and maintain confidentiality.
