Accounts Assistant

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Account Assistant to support our finance department. The candidate will be responsible for handling daily accounting tasks, maintaining financial records, and assisting in routine bookkeeping activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accuracy in data entry.
• Maintain books of accounts in Tally/Excel or any accounting software.
• Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts.
• Reconcile bank statements with internal records.
• Handle petty cash and maintain cash book.
• Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.
• Coordinate with vendors/customers for outstanding payments.
• Support the senior accountant during audits and financial reporting.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records (digital & hard copy).
• Perform general administrative and clerical duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance (Freshers can also apply if well-trained).
• Knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and basic accounting principles.
• Understanding of GST, TDS, and invoice handling.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.78 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift

• Yearly bonus
