Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the IT/Telecom sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for broadband, leased lines, managed services, and cloud-based telecom/IT networking solutions.
- Engage with C-level executives to present tailored IT infrastructure solutions that align with their organizational goals.
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and closure.
- Work closely with the technical and delivery teams to ensure successful execution and integration of projects.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify areas of opportunity.
- Track and report sales metrics including pipeline management, revenue forecasting, and client satisfaction.
Must-Have Skills
- 3 to 6 years of proven experience in IT/Telecom sales, especially in broadband, leased lines, managed services, and cloud security products (e.g., firewalls).
- Strong understanding of networking, cloud technologies, and telecom trends.
- Prior experience in engaging C-level executives and tailoring technical pitches to business needs.
- Sound knowledge of IT networking and telecom solution sales.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Strong opportunity creation and lead generation capabilities.
- Good analytical skills, with the ability to prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals.
- Exposure to upselling and cross-selling strategies in the IT infrastructure space.
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E / B.Tech) or B.Sc. in Information Technology preferred.
