Perceptive Analytics is seeking a skilled Tableau Consultant to join our team in Boston, US. In this role, you will engage directly with our clients to develop interactive dashboards and data visualizations that effectively communicate key company metrics across various business units. Your primary responsibility will be the creation of visualizations and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have 2-8 years of experience in Tableau and SQL, demonstrating a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results. Key Qualifications: - 2+ years of experience in Tableau for developing data visualizations - Minimum 3 years of extensive SQL experience - Ability to collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and generate actionable insights through reports Key Skills: - Proficiency in independent and collaborative work towards common objectives - Expertise in visualization development, including calculated fields and dynamic dashboards - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Experience in analysis and development of relational databases, with a solid understanding of database principles - Competency in KPI metric development and presentation Additional Skills and Knowledge: - Tableau Certification or coursework is a plus - Background or degree in computer applications or engineering is advantageous - Must have US work permit, H1B Visa, or other mandatory work permits Cover Letter Guidelines: Applicants must include a paragraph in their cover letter addressing the following statement: "The color scheme and layout is the backbone of a visualization."
