Video Editor

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and enhance photographs using industry-standard tools to create visually appealing images for digital and print media, including product shots, portraits, and lifestyle imagery.
• Produce, edit, and finalize high-quality videos, including short-form social media clips, promotional videos, tutorials, and advertisements, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and storytelling objectives.
• Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to conceptualize, storyboard, and execute visual content that drives engagement and supports business goals.
• Retouch and manipulate images for color correction, compositing, background removal, and enhancement to meet client specifications.
• Assemble raw video footage, add transitions, graphics, text overlays, sound effects, and music to create polished final products.
• Optimize edited content for various platforms (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, Facebook) by adjusting formats, resolutions, and aspect ratios.
• Manage photo and video assets in digital libraries, ensuring proper organization, tagging, and version control for easy retrieval.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in photo and video editing, incorporating innovative techniques to elevate content quality.
• Conduct quality checks on all deliverables to ensure they are error-free, visually consistent, and delivered on time.
• Assist in basic graphic design tasks, such as creating templates or simple animations, as needed.

Minimum Experience: 3+ years in a professional photo and/or video editing role, preferably in a creative agency, media house, or marketing firm.

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

Technical Skills (Proficiency in the following is preferred):

• Adobe Photoshop (advanced photo retouching and manipulation)
• Adobe Lightroom (photo organization, batch editing, and color grading)
• Canva (for quick graphic designs and social media assets)
• Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects for video editing and motion graphics)
• Final Cut Pro (for Mac-based video editing workflows)
• Filmora or similar tools for efficient, user-friendly editing
• Knowledge of other relevant tools like DaVinci Resolve, Illustrator, or InDesign is a plus
• Strong understanding of color theory, composition, lighting, and visual aesthetics.
• Familiarity with file formats, export settings, and compression techniques for web and broadcast.
• Ability to work with high-resolution images and 4K video footage.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
