About the Role:-

Key Responsibilities:-

• Edit

  documentary-style videos

  with a strong sense of narrative, pacing, and emotional impact.
• Cut, refine, and arrange

  interviews, voiceovers, and archival footage

  into compelling stories.
• Research and integrate supporting visuals, graphics, and soundscapes to enhance storytelling.
• Work with the creative team to develop video concepts, scripts, and storyboards.
• Create short-form adaptations of long-form content for social platforms (Reels, Shorts, TikTok, etc.).
• Apply

  color grading, sound mixing, and cinematic effects

  for a professional finish.
• Maintain consistency with brand voice, tone, and visual style.
• Manage multiple projects and deliver on tight deadlines.

Requirements:-

• Proven experience in

  documentary-style or long-form video editing

  (portfolio/reel required).
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience with After Effects or other motion/graphic design tools is a plus.
• Excellent sense of

  storytelling, narrative structure, and emotional pacing

  .
• Familiarity with sound design, audio syncing, and voiceover integration.
• Ability to research and source supporting footage (archival, stock, or news clips).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:-

• Experience in

  finance, tech, or documentary filmmaking

  .
• Understanding of YouTube documentary formats and digital storytelling trends.
• Skills in animation/motion graphics for enhancing visual storytelling.
• Background in journalism, film, media, or communications.
