UX Practice Lead

About the Role

• The Lead UX Designer will be responsible for establishing and leading the UX design practice within the organization, overseeing delivery across multiple clients and projects.
• This role combines design leadership, delivery management, and strategic oversight to ensure the creation of high-quality, user-centered digital experiences.
• The ideal candidate will bring strong UX expertise, team management capability, and experience working in a service-based environment handling diverse client needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide UX design efforts across multiple client projects, from research and concept development to final delivery.
• Define, Suggest, and maintain UX processes, methodologies, and design standards.
• Manage and allocate design resources effectively across concurrent projects and clients.
• Mentor and guide UX designers to ensure consistency, creativity, and delivery excellence.
• Collaborate with delivery managers, developers, and client stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Oversee user research, usability testing, and design validation to ensure user-focused solutions.
• Support pre-sales activities, including UX strategy inputs, estimations, and proposal preparation.

Required Skills and Experience

• 7 to 12 years of experience in UX design, including at least 3+ years in a lead or managerial capacity.
• Proven experience in a service-based or agency setup managing multiple client projects.
• Strong proficiency in UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and usability standards.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
• Ability to balance design quality, delivery timelines, and client expectations.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design leadership and successful UX outcomes across diverse projects
