As an experienced candidate with 10 to 20 years of experience, you will be responsible for architecting and designing testing solutions by leading the design and architecture of automated testing frameworks using UFT One. Your main responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing robust test automation strategies, focusing on functional, regression, and performance testing. - Ensuring smooth integration of UFT One frameworks into the overall testing lifecycle and CI/CD pipelines, driving continuous improvement of testing processes. - Providing technical guidance to the testing and development teams, mentoring junior team members to improve their skills in test automation. - Working closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and QA teams, to ensure alignment and successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. - Managing testing timelines and ensuring that automated tests are delivered on time and meet the required quality standards. - Identifying performance bottlenecks, troubleshooting issues, and implementing optimizations to improve the efficiency of automated testing. Preferred skills for this role include: - Experience with performance testing and integration with other tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter). - Knowledge of cloud-based testing solutions and integration with cloud services. - Experience with test management tools (e.g., ALM, Jira, Jenkins). Qualifications required for this position are: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 5+ years of hands-on experience in UFT One (Unified Functional Testing) or HP QTP, with a strong background in test automation. - Extensive experience in software architecture, integration, and implementation of test automation frameworks. - Strong understanding of test automation best practices, CI/CD, and integration of testing tools with development workflows. - Proficiency in scripting languages (VBScript, JavaScript, etc.) used within UFT One for automating tests. - Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. - Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments is a plus.
