Testing Engineer Executive

Role Overview

Hardware, Firmware, App Development, Production, and QA teams

Key Responsibilities

Testing & Validation

• Conduct

  manual and automated testing

  of LED-based electronic devices and system components.
• Develop, assemble, and maintain

  test jigs, fixtures, and testingequipment

  .
• Prepare

  standardized test procedures

  , test checklists, and testingframeworks.
• Identify potential

  product defects, inconsistencies, and performance deviations

  early in the development cycle.

Debugging & Issue Resolution

• Work closely with hardware and firmware teams to

  debug issues

  , reproduce bugs, and provide detailed findings.
• Perform

  root cause analysis (RCA)

  for failures and document solutions or recommendations.
• Collaborate with the system QA team for

  log collection, error tracking, and data/statistics reporting

  .

Documentation & Reporting

• Create, maintain, and update

  test reports

  , test logs, data sheets, and performance summaries.
• Ensure proper documentation of testing results and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Provide

  testing insights

  that contribute to design improvements, BOM accuracy, and manufacturing optimization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with Hardware, Firmware, App, and Production teams to ensure seamless testing workflows.
• Provide feedback for improving product design, manufacturability, and testing efficiency.
• Participate in team discussions, engineering reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Qualifications

• Strong understanding of

  Passive and Active Electronic Components

  and their working principles.
• Proficiency in

  hand-soldering

  for rework, prototyping, and test setup.
• Excellent

  troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis

  skills.
• Ability to select components and manage

  Bill of Materials (BOM)

  effectively.
• Strong

  communication and presentation skills

  .

Education & Experience

one

• Diploma (10+3)

  in Electrical/Electronics with

  2+ years

  of experience in testing.

• B.Sc. (12+3)

  with Electronics major and

  1+ year

  experience in testing & troubleshooting.

• B.Tech (12+4)

  in Electronics or equivalent specialization.
