Job Description

Manage and maintain the SPI database and instrument index.
Configure plant hierarchy, user access, and project settings.
Customize and manage reports, datasheets, and deliverables.
Import PSR files and regenerate them as per project requirements.
Ensure integration with other SmartPlant tools (e.g., SPF, SP3D).

SPEL

Set up and configure project databases and system settings.
Define user roles and access permissions.
Customize templates, symbols, and reports (e.g., cable schedules, panel layouts).
Manage backups, data migration, and system performance.
Troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth integration with SPI and other modules

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma, Bachelor s degree in engineering, or a related field.
08-15 years of experience in SPI administration in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or infrastructure sectors.
Database Management: Proficiency in SQL Server and SmartPlant database structures.
Electrical Engineering Knowledge: Understanding of loads, panels, cable routing, and power distribution.
SmartPlant Suite Expertise: Familiarity with SPI, SP3D, SPF, and integration workflows.
Report Customization: Experience with Crystal Reports, XML, or similar tools.
System Administration: Backup strategies, user access control, and performance monitoring.
Good communication and documentation skills.
