Job Title: Trainer Cable & Wiring Production (Contract) Department: Production Training Target Learners: ITI Graduates Duration: 3–4 Months | Full-time (8 hours/day) Location: Tumkur, Karnataka (Trainer to stay at client premises during the assignment) Employment Type: Contractual / Part-time About the Role We are seeking an experienced professional from the Cable & Wiring Manufacturing industry to join us as a Trainer. The role involves creating and delivering structured training programs for ITI graduates in a production setup. The trainer will play a key role in bridging industry practices with learner development. Key Responsibilities Visit the client plant, study existing processes, and gain a thorough understanding of product lines. Develop customized technical training content based on cable & wiring production processes. Deliver two training batches per day (4 hours each) covering: Raw material & processing Extrusion process Fabrication & finishing Production SOPs & process excellence Ideal Profile Minimum 12+ years of experience in the Cable & Wire manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of end-to-end production processes (material handling, extrusion, fabrication, finishing). Proven expertise in developing and delivering technical training modules. Hands-on knowledge of process SOPs and process excellence practices. Strong communication and learner engagement skills.

Responsibilities: * Perform CNC maintenance on VMC machines * Provide technical support during installations and configurations * Ensure operational excellence through regular testing and validation

Role & responsibilities 1. SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Technical Oversight: Set up and program SMT machines for various LED models. Maintain and optimize SMT and component alignment. Analyze and troubleshoot common SMT issues such as component shift, bridging, tombstoning, and solder voids . Ensure thermal profiling for different PCBs is done according to component datasheet specifications. Maintain machine calibration records and preventive maintenance schedules . 2. ICT & FCT (In-Circuit & Functional Testing) Engineering Support: Design and maintain ICT and FCT test jigs for different LED driver boards and control PCBs. Program and calibrate test setups for checking electrical continuity, voltage output, power factor, dimming compatibility, and overall functionality. Ensure proper functioning of test stations and quick troubleshooting of test failures or jig errors. Support quality and design teams with test data analysis and report generation. 3. WAVE Soldering & Through-Hole Assembly: Set and monitor WAVE soldering profiles including preheat temperature, conveyor speed, and solder pot temperature. Optimize soldering results for through-hole connectors, terminal blocks, and power components used in LED assemblies. Resolve issues such as solder bridging, insufficient soldering, and flux residue . Maintain and clean spray fluxers, conveyors, and solder pots as per schedule. 4. Component / Parts Management: Manage the technical database of all electronic components (LEDs, resistors, ICs, inductors, connectors, etc.). Create and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs) , component datasheets, and footprint libraries. Evaluate alternate parts or equivalent substitutes for out-of-stock or obsolete items without affecting circuit functionality. Ensure the right parts are kitted and issued to production lines as per the assembly plan . Support in vendor evaluation from a technical standpoint, ensuring compliance with product performance. 5. Production Engineering & Line Support: Act as the technical interface between production, quality, and design teams to resolve on-line technical problems. Provide operator training for component orientation, polarity checking, soldering standards, and ESD safety. Participate in process validation and first-batch approval for new product launches. Conduct engineering change implementation (ECO/ECR) and update related documents, BOMs, and drawings accordingly. Preferred candidate profile Automobile industry (preferred) or manufactured company. Over 3 years experience. Korean speaking is additional advantage.
