We are seeking a Senior Associate Data Scientist to identify trends, root causes, and potential improvements in our products and processes. In this vital role, you will be responsible for developing and deploying basic machine learning, operational research, and statistical methods to uncover structure in large datasets. The ideal candidate will be passionate about ensuring patient voices are heard and addressed with utmost precision by creating analytics solutions to address customer needs and opportunities. Roles & Responsibilities Data Management & Analysis: Collect, clean, and manage large datasets related to product performance and patient complaints. You will analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and correlations, and use advanced statistical methods and machine learning to uncover insights and root causes. Model Development: Develop analytics and predictive models to foresee potential product issues and patient concerns. You will work with software developers and engineers to translate these algorithms into commercially viable products and services. Reporting & Collaboration: Prepare comprehensive reports and visualizations to communicate findings to key stakeholders. You will present insights and recommendations to cross-functional teams and collaborate with regulatory and compliance teams to ensure adherence to healthcare standards. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for product enhancements and process improvements based on data analysis. You will work with product complaint teams to implement changes and monitor their impact. You will also stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in data science and healthcare analytics. Technical Skills Experience with one or more analytic software tools or languages, and data visualization tools. Demonstrated skill in the use of applied analytics, descriptive statistics, feature extraction, and predictive analytics on industrial datasets. Experience in statistical techniques and hypothesis testing, with expertise in regression analysis, clustering, and classification. Experience in analyzing time-series data for forecasting and trend analysis. Experience with the Data Bricks platform for data analytics. Experience working with healthcare data, including patient complaints, product feedback, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications A Master's degree with relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree with extensive experience, or a Diploma with a substantial background in Data Science and related fields. Soft Skills Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills to perform exploratory and targeted data analyses. Communication: Strong communication skills to prepare reports and present insights and recommendations to cross-functional teams. Collaboration: Ability to work with data engineers on data quality assessment and data cleansing, as well as with technical teams in the development and deployment of analytics solutions. Proactiveness: High degree of initiative, with the ability to manage workload and translate market information to drive continuous improvement.
