Software Automation Developer

What The Role Offers

Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using
Java
.
Technical lead for automation team who can design the framework from the scratch.
Write and execute automated test scripts for web applications and APIs.
Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
Develop scripts for automating routine tasks and deployment steps using
Shell scripting or Python
.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like
Jenkins
or
TeamCity
.
Troubleshoot and debug test failures and application issues.
Generate and maintain test reports and dashboards.
Work with
Git
or other version control systems for code management.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving automation practices.
Document test cases, test results, and automation processes.

What You Need To Succeed

6+ years of experience in software test automation.
Strong programming skills in
Java
and experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).
Experience with scripting languages like
Python
or
Shell
.
Familiarity with
CI/CD tools
(e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity).
Experience with
Git
,
SQL databases
, and basic web application architecture.
Understanding of web servers and deployment processes.
Exposure to
UI automation
and
automated regression testing
.
Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience with cloud environments and virtual machines (e.g., VMware, VCloud).
Familiarity with accessibility testing and web application security.
Knowledge of tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar test case management and bug tracking systems.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
