Sr. QA Engineer

As a QA/Support Engineer at Milestone Technologies, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and stability of the next-generation B2B eCommerce experience. Your responsibilities will include testing and monitoring a composable, headless architecture built on commerceTools, ContentStack CMS, and a Vercel-hosted frontend (Next.js). You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and system integrators in a modern engineering environment. **Role Overview:** In this role, you will be responsible for learning and testing composable eCommerce workflows, executing test plans for the Next.js/Vercel frontend, commerceTools APIs, and integration points with CMS, ERP, WMS, and PIM systems. You will also monitor application logs, respond to reported issues, and contribute to API contract testing across microservices. **Key Responsibilities:** - Create and execute test plans for eCommerce workflows and systems - Monitor application logs and cloud environments to identify and respond to issues - Participate in API contract testing and validate data consistency across systems - Contribute to testing of CI/CD pipelines and deployment verification - Document test cases, defects, and system behavior - Propose and support QA process improvements - Derive test cases and procedures from existing documentation - Follow testing best practices for eCommerce systems **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field - 3-5 years of experience in software QA or support roles - Understanding of eCommerce testing principles - Experience with test case management tools, browser developer tools, and bug tracking systems - Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium - Familiarity with version control and collaboration/documentation tools - Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and integration testing - Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure - Knowledge of commerceTools, Sage X3, Solochain WMS, or similar platforms - Strong communication skills and attention to detail At Milestone Technologies, we are committed to fostering a workplace that values diversity and inclusion.
