Sr. Data Scientist

Role Overview: As a Senior Data Scientist at Ideapoke, you will be responsible for collaborating with product/business owners to map business requirements into products/productized solutions or prototypes of AI algorithms. Your role will involve evaluating and comparing algorithm performance based on real-world data sets, mining massive amounts of data to gain insights using machine learning techniques, and designing and implementing ML algorithms through in-depth research and experimentation. You will also work on accelerating the distributed implementation of existing algorithms, conducting research to advance the state of the art in deep learning, and establishing efficient processes for model development and large-scale data analysis. Key Responsibilities: - Work with product/business owners to map business requirements into products/productized solutions or prototypes of AI algorithms. - Evaluate and compare algorithm performance based on real-world data sets. - Mine massive amounts of data to gain insights using machine learning techniques and complex network analysis methods. - Design and implement ML algorithms through in-depth research and experimentation. - Accelerate the distributed implementation of existing algorithms and models. - Conduct research to advance the state of the art in deep learning and provide technical solutions at scale for real-world challenges. - Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for model development, validation, implementation, and large-scale data analysis. - Process large amounts of data in a distributed cloud environment. - Optimize pre-existing algorithms for accuracy and speed. - Develop new skills and manage multiple research projects. - Collaborate effectively with the team and communicate well. Qualifications Required: - Ph.D./Master's degree/B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields with a strong mathematical/statistics background. - 3 to 4 years of academic or professional experience in Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing/Text mining, or a related field. - Technical expertise in Python, R, XML parsing, Big Data, NoSQL, and SQL.
