The MDES team is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer specializing in developing microservices based Enterprise applications using Java J2EE stack. This role also involves creating Portals for various user groups such as customer care, end user, and customer representatives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about crafting high quality, scalable, operable, and highly available code. Key Responsibilities: - Develop Enterprise Applications with quality, adhering to schedule and estimated efforts. - Support Lead Engineer in low level design tasks. - Provide task estimates accurately. - Write and execute Unit and Integration test cases. - Keep track of task statuses. - Conduct peer reviews and mentor junior team members. - Adhere to organizational processes, policies, and intellectual property protection guidelines. - Participate in organization-wide process improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing activities. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Proficiency in core Java, Spring Boot, Spring (MVC, IOC, AOP, Security), SQL, RDBMS (Oracle and PostGRES), Web-services (JSON and SOAP), Kafka, Zookeeper. - Experience in developing and deploying microservice applications on public clouds like Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure. - Familiarity with Intellij, Eclipse, or My Eclipse IDE. - Ability to write Junit test cases, work with Maven/Ant/Gradle, and use GIT. - Understanding of Design Patterns and Agile methodologies. - Strong logical and analytical skills, design abilities, and clear communication in English (written and verbal). - Knowledge of Security concepts (e.g., authentication, authorization, confidentiality) and protocols in enterprise applications. Desirable Skills: - Exposure to tools like Mockito, JBehave, Jenkins, Bamboo, Confluence, and Rally. As an individual contributor in this role, you will be responsible for completing tasks involving front end and back end changes within the stipulated time. Your ability to work in back end development using Java 1.8 and above will be crucial for the successful execution of tasks. You should also possess the skills to debug and troubleshoot issues in both UAT and Prod environments. A strong understanding of database integration and proficiency in writing queries is essential for this position. Additionally, you should have solid knowledge of core Java concepts and hands-on experience with Java collections framework and Streams. Total 6+ years of experience with Core Java, SQL, XML, Linux, Spring IOC Overall 4+ of experience in TeMIP, VTeMIP, UCA, UTTL, UTM, SM, NNMi and other HP products like BOBI etc with a track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budge. Experience how OSS/EMS functions and strong knowledge on 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G architectures. Should be able to enable loggers by enabling them and troubleshoot the issues. Knowledge on PERL language basics and how Kafka communication works. Proven experience managing projects across various domains (e.g., software development, infrastructure, business transformation). Strong experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira) Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Waterfall , Agile , Scrum , or Lean . Preferred candidate profile The SME will be responsible for managing, configuring, and supporting HP TeMIP, a leading telecom network management and fault management system. The role requires deep technical expertise in HP TeMIP as well as strong understanding of telecom network operations and fault management processes. The candidate will be responsible to handle the new integrations end to end and coordinate with the team internally or with the vendor team if any data is required. He must be able to close the integrations end to end along with the testing.
