Software Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Backend Development:

• Contribute to the development of backend solutions using .Net Core and C#.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and scalable software applications

Database Management:

• Implement and maintain database solutions using SQL.

• Optimize database performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity.

Continuous Integration and Deployment:

• Support and maintain Azure DevOps Pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.

• Ensure reliable and efficient release processes with a focus on minimizing downtime and maximizing automation.

Domain Knowledge:

• If applicable, develop an understanding of the Finance/Loan domain to align technical solutions with business requirements.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field and/or equivalent experience.

• Minimum 4+ years experience in application development.

Must have:

• Proficiency in .Net Core for backend development.

• Experience with SQL for database management.

• Minimum 3 years’ software development experience developing solutions on the Microsoft Platform

• Experience implementing web services utilizing WCF, SOAP, and XML

• Solid background in object-oriented design and analysis (OOD/OOA), unit testing, stored procedures, and DB performance

• Proficient understanding of object-oriented programming.

• Experience creating database schemas that support business processes.

• Understanding of Common Language Runtime (CLR), its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds.

• Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as TFS and Git).
