Job Role: Backend Developer (Java + PostgreSQL) — 1–2 Years

Work Model:

We’re looking for a hands-on backend developer to build reliable APIs and services that power our real estate platforms. You’ll collaborate with product, mobile, and marketing to turn business needs into scalable backend solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain REST/GraphQL APIs using

  Java (Spring Boot)

  as the primary stack.
• Model, query, and optimize data in

  PostgreSQL

  (schemas, indexing, transactions, query tuning).
• Implement caching, sessions, and rate-limiting with

  Redis

  .
• Deploy and operate services on

  AWS

  (EC2/Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, IAM); contribute to basic IaC or automation.
• Write clean, testable code (unit/integration tests), participate in code reviews, and monitor performance & reliability.
• Collaborate with frontend/mobile to define API contracts and deliver features end-to-end.
• Follow secure coding practices; handle logs/metrics/alerts for observability.

Requirements

• 1–2 years

  building backend services with

  Java (Spring Boot)

  .
• Strong SQL fundamentals with

  PostgreSQL

  (joins, transactions, indexing, performance).
• Practical experience with

  Redis

  and deploying to

  AWS

  .
• Familiarity with

  Git

  ,

  CI/CD

  (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI), and

  Docker

  .
• Understanding of API design, authentication/authorization (JWT/OAuth2), error handling, and logging.

Good to Have (Plus)

• Node.js (Express/NestJS)

  and

  MongoDB

  experience.
• MicroServices, message queues (SQS/Kafka/RabbitMQ), Terraform/CloudFormation, OWASP best practices.
• Search (ElasticSearch/OpenSearch), analytics pipelines, or payment integrations.
