SummaryAs a Rates & Billing Developer specializing in Oracle Utilities applications, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing rate structures and billing solutions within the Oracle CC&B system. This role involves close collaboration with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that billing processes align with business requirements and industry best practices.
Roles & Responsibilities:-Design and configure complex rate structures, including time-of-use, seasonal, and tiered rates, within the Oracle CC&B system.-Develop and maintain rate algorithms and ensure accurate billing calculations.-Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze rate requirements-Develop and implement billing processes, including bill segmentation, bill calculation, and bill completion.-Ensure accurate and timely generation of customer bills in compliance with regulatory standards.-Troubleshoot and resolve billing issues and discrepancies.-Integrate billing solutions with other enterprise systems, such as Meter Data Management (MDM) and ---Customer Information Systems (CIS).-Conduct unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing for billing solutions.-Document test cases and results to ensure quality assurance.-Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for rate structures, billing processes, and system configurations.Professional & Technical
Skills:

-Strong understanding of utility billing processes and regulatory requirements.-Experience with system integration and testing methodologies-Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).-Experience with Oracle Customer to Meter (C2M) and Meter Data Management (MDM) systems.-Knowledge of Java and Groovy scripting languages.-Familiarity with Agile or Scrum project management methodologies.-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Information-Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and implementing rate structures and billing solutions within Oracle CC&B.-Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.-This position is based at our Kolkata office.Qualification
