You'll work with software engineering leads and engineering managers to perform design, implement code and deliver data processing software to our customers and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs. This includes the following:
- Implement distributed, scalable, and fault-tolerant software systems.
- Build cloud services on top of the modern OCI infrastructure.
- Participation in peer/code reviews.
- Participate in the entire software lifecycle, from design to development, to quality assurance, to production deployment, and ongoing support and maintenance.
- Invest in the best engineering and operational practices upfront to ensure our software quality bar is high.
- Optimize data processing pipelines for orders of magnitude higher throughput and faster latencies.
- Leverage a plethora of internal tooling at OCI to develop, build, deploy, and troubleshoot software.
