The Test Engineer at Lucy Electric Manufacturing & Technologies in Halol, Vadodara, Gujarat will be responsible for analysing requirements, extracting test scenarios, and conducting functional & development testing for next-generation Remote Terminal Unit (RTU), AMM, and other Automation products. The role also involves supporting hardware, software, and production teams for test setup development and performing various types of tests. Key Responsibilities: - Developing test strategy and test plan for RTUs and other Lucy Automation products with strict version control - Documenting test plans and creating content for User Manual Documentation - Preparing and maintaining test specifications and test cases - Setting up tests and executing them as per the test plan - Capturing, documenting, and reporting test results and observations - Troubleshooting and hands-on build-up/repair/rework of test setups - Coordinating and delivering in cooperation with other project teams Job Context: The Test Engineer will create a testing setup, perform development and functional testing activities, and work as a member of the new product development team. The team collectively executes activities to maintain, improve, and optimize products for customers and production, focusing on reliability and robustness. Qualifications, Experience & Skills: - Graduate in Electronic Engineering or equivalent - Minimum 4+ years of experience in a similar industry - Self-driven individual with hands-on skills Job-Specific Skills: - Developing test scenarios, test plans, strategies, test cases, metrics, and bug reporting - Familiarity with different types of testing including Black box, White box & Grey box Testing, Database Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, UI Testing, Soak Testing - Ability to execute test cases at different stages of Product Life Cycle - Familiarity with protocols such as Ethernet, Modbus Serial/TCP IP, HTTP, and protocol test tools - Unit testing methodology and troubleshooting skills - Desirable strengths include ISTQB Certificate, knowledge of LabVIEW, familiarity with bug tracking and traceability tools, source code management tools, and lab equipment Behavioural Competencies: - Good interpersonal skills with a pleasant and can-do attitude - Willingness to work and thrive in a professional team - Ability to cope with work pressures and go the extra mile If this opportunity sounds interesting to you, we would love to hear from you.
