As a Shopify Developer with 5+ years of experience in the eCommerce domain, your role will primarily involve working on Shopify and demonstrating leadership skills in providing solutions and roadmaps for client migrations to Shopify. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing full-stack web application development using languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and React - Demonstrating proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, along with a strong understanding of the DOM - Working with custom themes and the Storefront API - Utilizing Shopify's theming system and Liquid templating - Implementing and debugging third-party Shopify apps - Building unique solutions and custom apps within Shopify - Having expertise in vanilla JavaScript, jQuery, ES2015/ES6, and various JavaScript frameworks - Understanding Shopify's object/properties, AJAX API, and Meta fields - Knowledge of cloud provider services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP - Applying object-oriented design principles in code - Familiarity with backend frameworks like Rails, Django, Spring, etc., and JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue, Angular, etc. - Understanding of agile, lean, DevOps principles, testing, CI/CD, and observability - Experience with streaming media or wellness verticals - Working with various aspects of the tech stack including Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Postgres, Elasticsearch, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, etc. In addition to the technical requirements, you should have a love for clean, elegant code. The job type is contractual/temporary with a duration of 6 months, allowing you to work from home with a schedule of Monday to Friday, during morning, UK, or US shifts. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and the ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a Shopify Developer.,
