Senior Software Engineer

• Responsible for designing, developing, and executing functional test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand requirements and design effective test strategies.


• Identify and document functional and non-functional requirements, and create comprehensive test plans and test cases.


• Perform manual and automated testing to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of software applications.


• Analyze test results, identify and report defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues.


• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, techniques, and best practices, and continuously improve testing processes and frameworks.

• Design and execute comprehensive functional test cases to validate the software applications behavior and features.


• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.


• Collaborate with the development team to understand the application architecture, identify potential risks, and suggest mitigation strategies.


• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and retrospective meetings to provide input and ensure the quality of the software.


• Document test plans, test cases, and test results, and provide regular status updates to the project stakeholders.


• Continuously explore and implement new testing methodologies, tools, and techniques to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


• 2-4 years of experience in functional testing, with a strong understanding of software development life cycles and testing methodologies.


• Proficient in writing and executing manual and automated test cases using industry-standard tools and frameworks.


• Hands-on experience with test case design, defect tracking, and test reporting.


• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, continuous integration, and continuous deployment practices.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and identify root causes of issues.


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
