Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior Software Engineer I/II - Application Support (L3) at Genea, you will be responsible for providing technical support and services to customers, partners, and end-users. Your role will involve analyzing and resolving customer-reported issues, working on bug fixing, data analysis, and collaborating with the development team to provide solutions. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of Genea's applications and services. Key Responsibilities: - Take ownership of customer-reported issues, analyze problems, and provide effective solutions using your logical and analytical skills. - Engage with customers to understand reported problems and provide L2/L3 support, monitoring, and expert knowledge on workflow designs. - Work on bug fixing, scripting, and data analysis to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. - Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions for customer issues, escalating unresolved issues to internal teams when necessary. - Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers within SLA requirements, ensuring proper recording and closure of all issues. - Document knowledge through knowledge base tech notes and articles, and prepare accurate reports. - Prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a global team to deliver results. Qualifications Required: - 3-6 years of experience as a Technical Support Engineer (L3) with expertise in Nodejs, Microservice Architecture, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, AWS, and Queue/Data Streaming Services. - Basic knowledge of React, HTML/CSS, JS, and hardware-networking skills. - Proficiency in issue tracking systems like JIRA, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent client-facing communication skills. - Proactive, enthusiastic, and willing to take on challenges.
