Senior Software Engineer (C++ Developer)

Immediately require Senior Software Engineer (C++ Developer) with minimum 6 to 12 years relevant skills and experience to work remotely for John Deere client.

Role & responsibilities

Skill Set Requirements (MUST HAVE):

• Hands-on experience designing and developing in C++ 11, 14 and/or Linux C++ programming
• Hands-on experience designing and developing with core C++ features: Virtual Functions, Type casting, Pointers, Multithreading, STL (Containers and algorithms).
• Strong OOPS concepts
• Design patterns (eg. Factory, Singleton)
• Developing new module
• Standard template library - different containers
• Collections, Algorithms, Passing callbacks etc.
• Functional programming
• Memory management - how to handle lifecycle same object to different functions
• Experience working with Test Automation - GMOCK/GTEST

The following skills are highly preferred and will set you apart:

*Experience working with latest developer tools: Visual Studio/CMake, Conan, Git, GDB

• Experience with CI/CD build processes and configuration
• Embedded C++ -- applied in diagnostics, simulation, and troubleshooting of machine controllers in production and lab environments.

Preferred candidate profile

B.E/B.Tech Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Information Technology

BCA/MCA, M.Sc/MS Computer Science, M.Tech Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, etc.

Note: Few hours of overlap with US time zone is a must for this role for interactions with stakeholders in the US.
