Senior Silicon Validation Engineer

As a Silicon Design Validation Engineer at Lattice, you will be part of a dynamic team working on cutting-edge FPGA projects. Your role involves validating building blocks in FPGA on a board level to ensure functionality and performance align with design intent. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with various IPs as building blocks, including SERDES (PMA/PCS), Memory DDR, DPHY, PLL, DSP, Fabric, and I/O. Key Responsibilities: - Validate and characterize various IPs from silicon arrival to production release - Develop validation and characterization plans for specific IPs, bench hardware, and software - Create test logic RTL for intended validation tests - Drive new silicon product bring-up, validation, and debug processes - Collaborate with design, verification, manufacturing, test, quality, and marketing teams throughout the product lifecycle - Provide support for customer issues post-product release Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience in Silicon Design Validation - Electrical Engineering degree with a passion for pursuing a career in this field - Expertise in High-Speed Serdes Interface characterization and protocol compliance testing (e.g., PCIe, Ethernet, MIPI, USB, etc.) - Proficiency in high-speed board design and signal integrity evaluation - Strong skills in Verilog/VHDL and FPGA development tools - Experience in test automation using Python, Perl, and statistical analysis tools - Familiarity with bench equipment for device characterization - Exposure to FPGA emulation/prototyping - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration - Proactive, self-motivated, critical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities If you are a highly motivated individual seeking to develop a career in Silicon Design Validation Engineering and are excited about working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, Lattice could be the perfect fit for you.,
