Senior Machine Learning Engineer

As a Senior/Staff Machine Learning Engineer at SAP, you will play a crucial role in shaping and advancing SAP's generative AI services. Your responsibilities will include leading the technical aspects of architecting, scaling, and securing the next generation of AI services. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing ML pipelines, orchestrators, and workflow systems to transform foundational model research into robust, enterprise-ready solutions. Working within the Experience Generation team, you will contribute to three key generative-AI services: Deep Research & Planning, Experience Builder, and Visual Services. These services leverage AI to deliver strategic plans, dashboards, micro-apps, and commerce imagery, providing significant business value across all SAP lines of business. The team's technology stack comprises a React/Next.js frontend, a Python + FastAPI backend, and a Kubernetes runtime managed by Gardener. Additionally, the platform utilizes Postgres, Cassandra, HANA Cloud vector engines, and SAP's Generative AI Hub for model governance, ensuring controllable and scalable AI workflows. As a senior engineer at SAP, you will have the opportunity to define the architecture and strategy for enterprise AI services that have a global impact.
