Senior Java Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Developer with a proven track record in designing and developing enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of overall application development experience, including 8+ years of hands-on expertise in Java/J2EE, microservices, and caching technologies. This role requires strong technical leadership in building and maintaining high-performance REST APIs and gRPC interfaces, with a focus on scalability, performance, and security. The candidate should possess deep knowledge and experience in Spring Boot, Light4J, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), along with proficiency in complex SQL development. Excellent communication skills and experience working in the banking or financial domain are highly desirable.

• Minimum 12+ years of Application development experience
• 8+ years HANDS-ON development experience in Java/J2EE/microservices and Caching
• Build, modify and maintain high-performance REST API, gRPC Interface using Java technologies
• Knowledge of Web Services/microservices integration (REST, JSON, WSDL/SOAP, XML).
• Implement APIs based on architecture frameworks (light4j, Spring/Springboot, gRPC framework), specifications and guidelines
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries (sub queries, aggregation, filtering, joints)
• Working experience in any cloud platform is desirable (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Analyze, design, develop and maintain secure code practices that provide value-added features to applications
• Participate in peer reviews to ensure that code delivery meets specific standards and best practices
• Experience architecting complex systems considering scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Excellent communication and co-ordination skills
• Knowledge of Banking/financial industry is highly desirable
