Senior ETL Developer

As a Senior ETL Developer at our company, your primary role will be to design, develop, and optimize Talend data pipelines. This will involve integrating data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights for informed decision-making across the organization. You should have a sound understanding of databases for storing structured and unstructured data using optimized modeling techniques. Additionally, familiarity with data catalog and data quality modules, preferably within Talend, will be beneficial. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into ETL solutions. - Develop comprehensive architecture and design documentation for the data landscape. - Implement and oversee development testing to ensure solution reliability and performance. - Adhere to coding standards, compliance with information security protocols, and best practices. - Address non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, security, and maintainability in Talend-based ETL solution design and development. Qualifications Required: - Experience with core tools like Talend Data Integrator, Talend Data Catalog, Talend Data Quality, and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server). - Proficiency in ETL, data load strategy, data modeling, data governance, query optimization, and performance enhancement. - Exposure to at least one cloud service provider (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI). - Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL, query tuning, optimization, and best practices. - Strong communication and presentation skills to engage with stakeholders effectively. - Ability to guide and upskill team members for enhanced productivity. The role may also involve knowledge and hands-on experience with programming languages like Python and R, along with relevant certifications related to the position. This is a full-time contractual/temporary position based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The contract length is for 6 months, with a flexible schedule and fixed shift timings.
