Senior Engineer, AVP (JAVA)

Role Overview: As a Senior Engineer, AVP at Pune, India, you will be responsible for designing and developing entire engineering solutions to achieve business goals. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring well-architected solutions with maintainability and ease of testing, successful integration into the end-to-end business process flow, and providing engineering thought leadership within your teams. You will also play a role in mentoring and coaching less experienced engineers. Key Responsibilities: - Hands-on software development - Ownership of solution design and architecture - Experience in Agile and Scrum delivery - Contribution towards good software design - Participation in daily stand-up meetings - Strong communication with stakeholders - Articulation of issues and risks to management in a timely manner - Training other team members to enhance their skills Qualification Required: - Extensive experience with Java and related technologies such as Spring Core/Spring Boot/Hibernate/MyBatis - Experience in developing applications using data processing frameworks such as Spring Batch, Apache Beam, Apache Storm - Knowledge of a wide variety of open-source tools and frameworks including JMS/JPA/JAX-WS/JAX-RS/JAX-B/JTA standards, XML binding, parsers, XML schemas, XPath, XSLT - Experience with SSL/X.509 Certificates/Keystores - Proficiency in core Java concepts such as lambdas, functional programming, streams, Generics, Concurrency, memory management - Tuning and troubleshooting experience with profiling and monitoring tools - Knowledge of solution design and architecture including UML, design patterns, refactoring, architecture decisions, quality attributes, documentation - Experience in Agile, messaging and integration, patterns, REST, SOA - Proficiency in build and deployment tools like Maven, Artifactory, TeamCity, Jenkins - Unix scripting skills and hands-on experience - Performance engineering knowledge including different types of tests, measurement, monitoring tools, tuning, troubleshooting - Awareness of emerging trends and technologies, end-to-end design and delivery of solutions - Experience with RDBMS/Oracle design, development, tuning Additional Company Details: Deutsche Bank Group strives for a culture of empowerment, responsibility, commercial thinking, initiative, and collaboration.
