Senior DevOps Engineer

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at CodelogicX, you will be responsible for automating deployment workflows, securing cloud environments, and managing container orchestration platforms to ensure the reliability and scalability of our systems. Leveraging your expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and CI/CD, you will play a crucial role in streamlining development processes and driving the adoption of best practices across the team. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain Bitbucket Pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment. - Standardize release workflows across dev, staging, and production environments. - Manage AWS infrastructure with Terraform (IaC), focusing on scalability, reliability, and cost optimization. - Configure and maintain core AWS services (EC2, EKS, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, RDS, VPCs, Load Balancers, Route 53). - Operate and optimize EKS clusters using Helm, ingress controllers, and autoscaling (HPA/VPA). - Troubleshoot and resolve Kubernetes issues (pods, services, DNS, kubelets). - Implement monitoring and observability with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry. - Enforce security best practices across AWS (IAM, WAF, GuardDuty, Inspector, Security Hub). - Work closely with development and QA teams to streamline releases. - Contribute to GitOps workflows (infrastructure-as-code, version-controlled changes). - Drive continuous improvement in deployments, monitoring, and incident response. Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience as a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Cloud Engineer. - Hands-on experience with AWS services and Terraform (IaC). - Solid background in Bitbucket Pipelines for CI/CD automation. - Strong Kubernetes/EKS skills (deployments, Helm, scaling, troubleshooting). - Strong knowledge of monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch). - Strong understanding of cloud security and secrets management. - Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA). - Comfortable collaborating with developers and leading incident response. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. - Experience with GitHub Actions is a plus. - Certifications in AWS (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer, AWS SysOps Administrator) or Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD). - Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare or fintech). - Exposure to container security tools and cloud compliance scanners.
