Job Description

Role Overview: As a Technical Lead at the company, you play a crucial role in ensuring the development team meets the technical delivery goals while maintaining high functional and non-functional quality standards. You are a force-multiplier who leads, coaches, and guides others towards success. Key Responsibilities: - Analysis and design: - Assist developers in understanding the problem and help with problem decomposition - Provide ad-hoc consultations and pair-work to remove technical blockers - Specify and direct developers to find and reuse existing solutions - Aid in breaking large build items into sub-items for efficient progress tracking - Contribute to requirements gathering by understanding the business domain - Development: - Supervise technical quality through pair-work, code reviews, and spot-checks - Provide continuous feedback to developers during their build process - Support regression testing by encouraging automated and unit testing - SDLC and process oversight: - Ensure adherence to SDLC by all developers - Monitor CI builds and ensure immediate fixes after breaks - Prepare technical stage gates for production releases - Identify and address risks impacting delivery or causing production issues - Non-functional requirements: - Enforce coding standards within the team - Take responsibility for non-functional requirements like usability, performance, and security - Community and collaboration: - Implement company-wide development initiatives on your project - Actively participate in technical lead forums and communities - Identify and provide solutions for system weaknesses - Assist in succession planning and build depth in the team Qualifications Required: - First-class bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - Experience in large-scale technology delivery projects - Expertise in Microsoft .NET development products, web development, and financial products - Familiarity with web services and automated testing tools - Passion for innovative solutions and high-performance teamwork About the Company: The company values a culture of growth that fosters limitless opportunities for employees, customers, and the wider world.
