Senior Developer - ABAP/UI5

WHAT YOULL BUILD

We are looking for a Developer who would engineer solutions that meet with SAP s quality standards. In this role,you will work very closely with Product Owners, Software Developers, Designers and Domain Experts, in an Agile working model.

• Responsible for development focusing on design, coding, testing, quality assurance of specific product features in a development team.
• Ability to analyse and solve issues in existing and new code.
• Investigate, analyze complex problems; and resolve critical content related issues for S/4 HANA customers.
• Demonstrates full responsibility for accepted tasks and therefore demonstrates a high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency.
• Enhances skills beyond own core functional focus and works on other tasks for the benefit of the team
• Experience building highly available, secure and scalable enterprise products
• Assume additional technical, organizational or coordination tasks or roles, as required
• Experienced in test driven development and agile development.
• Has basic knowledge of products and processes with limited design responsibility

WHAT YOU BRING:

• 8-12 years of experience in software development strong educational qualifications (Bachelor s degree in Engineering or MCA from reputed institutes)
• Strong programming background and excellent technical skills in Design, coding, testing and delivery of secure, scalable, reliable, robust and performant applications
• Good Reasoning, Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient Knowledge of core ABAP, Knowledge of ABAP OO, HTML5, SAPUI5
• Development in HANA using CDS views, Strong focus on Database and experienced in writing scalable SQL.
• Developing UI Annotations part of OData service definitions
• Collaborate with designers and domain experts and to Work in a diverse team applying Scrum and agile development
• Follow the standards and coding guidelines and apply standard processes in development
• Experience or functional knowledge in Retail/Consumer Industries
• Good communication skills with team members, stakeholders and customer
• High level of commitment towards ownership of product/topic will be the key for success
• Flexibility and adaptability are must haves to be successful in this role
