Security Guard

Job Summary:

We are seeking a vigilant, responsible, and disciplined Security Personnel to ensure the safety and security of the resort premises, guests, staff, and assets. The ideal candidate should have experience in security operations, gate control, visitor management, vendor monitoring, and basic utility operations (boiler/genset).

Key Responsibilities:1. Access Control & Entrance Management

• Maintain a 24/7 security presence at the main check post/entrance.
• Verify and record all guest, staff, and vendor entries and exits.
• Ensure only authorized personnel and vehicles are allowed on the property.
• Manage and maintain the check post in a neat, organized, and alert manner.

2. Register & Logbook Maintenance

• Maintain daily Security Register (guest, staff, vendor, and vehicle movement).
• Update and file the Visitor Register with time in/time out, purpose of visit, and signature.
• Maintain and update the Vendor Register for all third-party entries (e.g., supply, maintenance, contractors).
• Record all night security rounds with time, location, and remarks.
• Submit daily register/logbook summary to the Admin/Front Office.

3. Visitor & Vendor Management

• Follow strict visitor check-in and check-out protocols.
• Ensure visitor ID verification and issue visitor badges.
• Coordinate with respective departments before granting access to visitors or vendors.
• Ensure vendor check-in and check-out is properly documented.
• Accompany vendors to designated areas if required.

4. Utility Equipment Handling

• Responsible for switching on/off the boiler and genset during power failures or scheduled operations.
• Ensure genset fuel and water levels are checked and reported daily.
• Report any malfunction or breakdown to the Engineering/Maintenance team immediately.
• Keep boiler/genset operational logs accurately updated.

5. Surveillance & Patrolling

• Conduct routine patrols of the entire resort premises to identify any security breaches, hazards, or safety concerns.
• Ensure all entry/exit points, fire exits, and common areas are secure.
• Monitor CCTV (if assigned) and report suspicious activity promptly.

6. Emergency & Safety Protocols

• Respond immediately to emergency situations such as fire alarms, medical emergencies, or unauthorized access.
• Coordinate with local authorities or internal teams if required.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) during any critical incident.
• Maintain calm and professional behavior under pressure.

7. Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Housekeeping, and Admin teams for day-to-day security operations.
• Prepare and submit daily incident reports and activity summaries to the Security Supervisor or Resort Manager.
• Attend and actively participate in security briefings and training sessions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in hotel/resort/industrial security operations.
• Basic knowledge of security protocols, entrance control, and register management.
• Ability to operate genset and boiler (training will be provided if required).
• Physically fit and alert at all times.
• Good communication skills in English/Hindi or local language.

Education:

• Minimum 10th Pass or equivalent.
• Security training certification or ex-serviceman background preferred (not mandatory).
