Security Analyst

TargetBay is a fast-growing eCommerce marketing automation SaaS company based out of Chennai and Atlanta. Clients use our products to increase their online sales through our personalized email marketing and reviews technologies. We have over 3,000 eCommerce companies using our product.We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Operations Engineer to lead and manage our security operations team responsible for ensuring the security and compliance of our applications, APIs, network infrastructure, and overall IT environment. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a range of security activities, including application security, API security, network security, infrastructure security, and penetration testing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to proactively identify and mitigate security risks, develop security policies and procedures, and respond to security incidents.

Application Security

:Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure secure coding practices and conduct security assessments of applications.Implement and manage application security tools and technologies.Perform regular application security testing, code review, and vulnerability assessment.

API Security

:Define and enforce API security best practices.Monitor, assess, and secure APIs for vulnerabilities.Establish and manage authentication and authorization mechanisms for APIs.

Network Security

:Manage and configure network security devices, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.Conduct network vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.Monitor network traffic and respond to security incidents.

Infrastructure Security

:Implement and maintain security controls for cloud and on-premises infrastructure.Monitor and analyze system logs, configure security settings, and ensure compliance with security standards.Manage access controls and identity and access management (IAM).

Penetration Testing

:Plan and conduct regular penetration tests on applications, infrastructure, and network.Document and report vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for remediation.Collaborate with development and IT teams to address identified vulnerabilities.

Incident Response

:Develop and maintain an incident response plan.Lead the response to security incidents, including investigation, containment, and recovery.Analyze incident data and recommend improvements to security controls.

Compliance

:Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).Conduct compliance assessments and audits.

Team Leadership

:Hire, train, mentor, and manage a team of security professionals.Foster a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications:
