Security Analysis Specialist

As a Security Analysis Specialist, you will play a crucial role in validating the antivirus strategy for all IT elements, ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, architecting, and implementing services related to anti-virus and EDR technologies - Implementing and managing antivirus projects such as MS Defender for Endpoint, Crowdstrike Sophos, Sentinalone, Trend Micro - Administering AV/EDR servers and Distributed Repositories - Configuring tasks, policies, scheduled scans, and scan exclusions based on client requirements - Monitoring and remediating servers/workstations for virus infections and threats - Analyzing EDR event logs and conducting vulnerability assessments - Resolving client issues and escalating when necessary - Utilizing ticketing systems and standard operating procedures for effective call processing - Evaluating security events and communicating technical information effectively - Participating in knowledge sharing and developing efficient customer solutions - Maintaining knowledge of local security policies and executing assigned general controls Qualifications required for this role: - Three to five years of experience with MS Defender for Endpoint, Crowdstrike Sophos, Sentinalone, Trend Micro - Three to five years of experience with Virus Scan, ePolicy Orchestrator - Three to five years of experience with McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention or Cylance Host Intrusion Detection - Proficiency in Windows operating systems, Internet connectivity, protocols (TCP/IP), Enterprise Security Information Management systems, and networking - Strong investigative and analytical problem-solving skills Role preferences include vendor certifications from Symantec, McAfee, Cylance, Sophos, Microsoft, Crowdstrike, and other certifications like MS Defender, Trend Micro, Carbon Black.
