Job Title: SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)

Experience:

Roles and Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scripts based on functional and technical requirements.
Perform end-to-end functional testing, including regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and user journey validation for web and API components. Execute non-functional testing such as load, stress, security, and usability to ensure system performance and application robustness. Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, or similar automation frameworks. Implement and enhance automation frameworks for UI and API testing with an emphasis on maintainability and reusability. Work with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber, SpecFlow, or Behave and write clear Gherkin scenarios. Conduct API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or related tools, and validate responses and workflows. Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. Use SQL queries for backend validation and ensure data accuracy across systems. Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA or related defect-tracking tools, collaborating closely with developers for quick resolution. Participate in Agile ceremonies, contribute to sprint planning, and support continuous improvement of QA processes. Prepare and maintain QA documentation including test cases, test results, bug reports, and release readiness checklists
