Sap Sales Distribution Consultant

Role Overview: You will be responsible for bridging the gap between the Sales/Marketing, Dispatch/Billing, and IT SAP Technical support teams by translating business requirements into SAP functional understanding. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in integrating with warehouse, finance, costing, planning, quality, and materials teams. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate closely with Sales/Marketing, Dispatch/Billing, and Logistics teams to understand business needs and provide SAP support. - Ensure timely maintenance of masters in the SAP system and keep them updated. - Address SD tickets according to SLA. - Conduct regular audits of the SAP-SD process. - Familiarize yourself with SAP best practices and implement them in the system. - Facilitate training programs related to the SAP SD module. - Lead digital initiatives in the SD area. - Prepare business requirement specification documents and conduct UAT for SD-relevant new developments/enhancements. - Manage proper authorization access for SD roles to prevent conflicts and audit observations. - Coordinate with internal and external agencies. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in master data management for the SD module. - Knowledge of SD basic level configuration in SAP and key data structures for SD. - Ability to provide L0 & L1 level support to the sales team. - Experience in addressing new requirements and business reporting. - Understanding of SAP MM backend tables and initial debugging skills. - Familiarity with interface integrations with the SAP MM module.
