SAP MM Consultant

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end implementation projects in SAP MM, especially on S/4HANA greenfield environments.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams for seamless integration with other SAP modules (SD, WM, FICO, PP, etc.).
• Manage and support IDoc configurations, inbound/outbound integration, and ensure robust data flow with external systems.
• Provide functional expertise in the areas of procurement, inventory management, invoice verification, and vendor evaluation.
• Handle complex business process mapping, blueprint preparation, gap analysis, and solution design.
• Oversee and mentor a team of SAP MM professionals ensuring project deliverables are met within timelines and quality standards.
• Engage in stakeholder management, client interactions, and provide project progress updates to leadership.
• Ensure best practices, documentation standards, and change management processes are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM module.
• At least 2 full-cycle S/4HANA greenfield implementaons as a lead consultant.
• Strong knowledge of IDoc processing, interfaces, and system integration techniques.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Prior experience in leading cross-functional teams, mentoring junior consultants, and managing global stakeholders.
• Ability to independently handle client workshops, UAT, cutover activities, and hyper care support.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and interpersonal skills.

• Preferred Qualifications:

  SAP MM Certification
• PMP or equivalent project management certification (optional but desirable)
• Exposure to Agile/Hybrid methodologies
• Experience in working with global clients and distributed teams
