Role Title: ABAP Developer
Role Purpose: As an ABAP Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs and reports within SAP. Collaborating with functional teams, you will deliver custom solutions and ensure smooth integration with SAP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop ABAP programs, reports, and forms for SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, Fiori).
• Work with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and optimize ABAP code for performance and functionality.
• Develop interfaces between SAP and non-SAP systems using ALE, IDoc, BAPI, and Web Services.
• Ensure ABAP code adheres to SAP best practices and security standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful project delivery.
• Prepare technical documentation, including specifications and test cases.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or related fields.
• 3-6 years of experience in ABAP development (S/4HANA experience is a plus).
• Proficiency in ABAP (Reports, BADI, User Exits, ALV, Smart Forms).
• Knowledge of SAP integration technologies like ALE, IDoc, BAPI, and Web Services.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori and UI5 (preferred).
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or cloud-based SAP environments.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Experience with SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 development.
