Job Description

Job Specific Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop high level architecture and solution design for implementation of business requirement.
  • Transform business function requirements into technical and finalize technical design and develop custom reports, performance tuning on migration and upgrade case scenarios and fix issues.
  • Active participation in root-cause analysis and troubleshooting of issues
  • Willing to share technical knowledge and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions within development team from time-to-time
  • Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying application Issues and providing solutions.
  • Engage other technical team members in the design, delivery, and deployment of solutions
  • Mentor and coach junior developer resources.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise

  • 5-10 years of ABAP experience
  • Hands on development experience of RICEF objects in both HANA ABAP and Core ABAP - Reports: Interactive and ALV (preferably ALV using OO Methodology)
  • Expertise in Module Pool Programs with screen designing, RFCs ,Function Modules, Smart forms, BDCs
  • Interfaces: BAPI and Flat file Interfaces (handling files on Application Server and Presentation Server)
  • Enhancements: BADI, User Exits, Customer Exits and Enhancement Spots (all are mandatory)
  • Proficiency in areas like Data Dictionary and Performance Tuning
  • Expertise in In-line coding style and AMDP in HANA ABAP
  • Hands-on in IDOC. Workflow and OO ABAP
  • Hands-on knowledge in ODATA and CDS Views
  • End to end SAP, SAP S4 HANA implementation experience with at least 3-4 full life cycle implementation projects.
  • General business process and integration knowledge in SAP modules.
  • Working experience in SAPUI5 and Fiori is a plus.
