Description
As a skilled and detail-oriented Salesforce QA Engineer, your role will involve ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of Salesforce Service Cloud applications. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing manual and automated testing to validate functionality, performance, and user experience of Salesforce Service Cloud applications. - Conducting REST API testing using tools like Postman to ensure accurate data exchange and integration flows. - Executing load and performance testing for REST APIs to assess scalability and responsiveness with tools such as JMeter. - Developing and maintaining comprehensive test cases, test scripts, and test data based on business requirements and Agile user stories. - Participating actively in Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. - Collaborating with developers, product owners, and business analysts to ensure thorough test coverage and alignment with sprint goals. - Utilizing Selenium WebDriver and related tools to build and maintain robust automation test suites. - Documenting and tracking defects using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps and ensuring timely resolution. - Generating and communicating clear and accurate test metrics and project status reports. - Mentoring junior QA team members and contributing to the continuous improvement of QA processes and standards. Minimum qualifications for this role include: - Experience in manual and automation testing of Salesforce Service Cloud applications. - Proficiency in REST API testing using Postman or similar tools. - Experience with load/performance testing tools and methodologies. - Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and test automation frameworks. - Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile teams. - Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps). - Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills. - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience. - Knowledge of Salesforce data model, flows, and Service Cloud features.
