As a Software Engineer at Start Designs, you will play a crucial role in executing the software development life cycle. Your responsibilities will include producing specifications, determining operational feasibility, and developing flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions. You will be tasked with building out smart contracts on Rust and Solidity/Vyper, showcasing your ability to learn new technologies and write secure, high-quality code. In addition, you will integrate software components into a fully functional software system, document and maintain software functionality, troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems, as well as deploy programs and evaluate user feedback. To qualify for this role, you should have prior work experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer. You must possess at least 1 year of experience working on blockchain-based projects, DeFi, and Cryptonomicon protocol design. Experience in writing smart contracts on Solana is a must, along with the ability to develop software in Rust, Node.js, and React JS. Proficiency in building web3 applications and services, interfacing, and interacting with web3 applications (web3.js / RPC API) is also essential. We value individuals who are self-driven, willing to seek help or assistance when needed, proficient in software engineering tools, capable of documenting requirements and specifications, and have experience in the Solana Ecosystem.
